Visit Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve
Easy hiking in Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve. It’s a slightly hilly 2.5 mile that runs across a creek. There’s even a little waterfall sighting! It’s a teeny-tiny waterfall, but it’s still refreshing. This is a pretty easy hike that has several different loops and paths.
Recommendation
Best BBQ in town (get the ends of the brisket) at Terry Black’s

🔮 Uncommon Objects is the definition of "Keep Austin Weird". It's an antiques shop that sells just about everything and anything and it's open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Perfect place to find gifts for that person who just has everything!
Recommendation
Walk the trail around Lady Bird Lake! Super relaxing
Recommendation
🍗 Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken has some of the best fried chicken I've ever tried! It has the perfect spicy kick and all the pies are amazing 🙌
Visit Barton Springs
Barkin' Springs 🐕 You've most likely heard of Barton Springs, but this is a free area just outside, that's also dog friendly!
Recommendation
⛰ Enjoy some of the best views in the city from Mount Bonnell! It's the tallest natural point in Austin and there's about 100 steps to get to the top, but the view once you get there is completely worth it. It's an even prettier photo op if you go right before sunset!
Recommendation
🌸 The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is a perfect place to explore for anyone who loves nature and walking through beautiful trails.
Visit Mueller Lake Park
Mueller Lake Park - in East Austin near downtown with a 6.5-acre loop around the lake to walk or run. There are plenty of places to picnic or lounge in the sun. Texas Farmers’ Market is every Sunday from 10am to 2pm in Mueller too!

🖼 The Blanton Museum of Art is a beautiful museum that has two parts. The first building has your more traditional art exhibits, but the second one is the building in the image and it's stunning to take pictures in! It's also free admission on Thursdays.
